96.8% of adults, 85.9% of teens fully vaccinated
Some 98.3% of adults and 89.5% of teenagers have received at least one shot of vaccine.
A total of 22,665,493 individuals or 96.8% of the adult population had completed their Covid-19 vaccination as of yesterday.
Based on the CovidNow portal, a total of 23,010,447 individuals or 98.3% of the adult population have received at least one dose of vaccine.
In terms of teenagers, 2,705,253 individuals or 85.9% have completed their vaccination, while 2,819,774 or 89.5% have received at least one dose of vaccine.
A total of 109,139 doses of vaccine were administered yesterday, with 6,711 as second doses, 4,538 to first-dose recipients and 97,890 as booster shots.
This brings the total number of vaccine doses administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme to 53,345,233, including 2,332,750 booster jabs.
