29 reported Covid deaths take toll to 30,309

Of these, six were brought-in-dead cases.

Another 29 Covid-related deaths were reported on Nov 28, taking the cumulative death toll in the country to 30,309.

According to the health ministry’s Github data repository, six or 20.6% of these were brought-in-dead (BID) cases.

The number of deaths as well as BID cases on Nov 28 were the lowest in a week.

Perak had the highest number of reported deaths at seven or 24.1% followed by Kedah and Kelantan at six or 20.7% each.

Johor, Pahang, Sabah, Terengganu and Kuala Lumpur reported two deaths each.

No deaths were reported in eight states – Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Perlis, Penang, Sarawak, Selangor, Labuan and Putrajaya.

A total of 4,239 new cases were reported yesterday, taking the overall total to 2,623,816.

As of yesterday, there were 66,455 active Covid-19 cases reported and 5,007 recoveries.
