63 reported Covid deaths take toll to 30,063

Another 63 Covid-related deaths were reported on Nov 22, taking the cumulative death toll in the country to 30,063.

According to the health ministry’s Github data repository, 13 of these were brought-in-dead (BID) cases.

Selangor had the highest number of reported deaths at 14 or 22.2%, followed by Johor (11) and Sabah (nine).

Perak and Terengganu reported seven deaths each, Kuala Lumpur and Kedah four each, and Kelantan and Sarawak two each.

Melaka, Negeri Sembilan and Pahang recorded one death each while no deaths were reported in Perlis, Penang, Labuan and Putrajaya.

A total of 4,885 new cases were reported yesterday, taking the overall total to 2,591,486.

As of yesterday, there were 67,986 active Covid-19 cases reported and 5,628 recoveries.
