90% adult vaccination rate nearly in reach

A total of 21,104,896 people or 89.4% of the adult population had been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 as of yesterday.

Meanwhile 24,384,831 or 94.7% have received at least one shot, including of the single-dose CanSino vaccine.

In terms of total population, 64.6% have been fully vaccinated while 74.7% have received at least one dose.

A total of 174,820 jabs were administered yesterday, taking the cumulative number of vaccine shots given under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme to 45,379,299.
