88.8% of adults fully vaccinated as total jabs cross 45 million

A total of 20,915,720 people or 88.8% of the adult population had been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 as of yesterday.

Meanwhile 24,200,366 or 94.6% have received at least one jab, including of the single-dose CanSino vaccine.

In terms of total population, 64% are now fully vaccinated with 74.1% having received at least one dose of vaccine.

A total of 209,907 doses of vaccine were administered yesterday, taking the cumulative number of jabs given under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme to 45,007,832.
