Every state in the country had fully vaccinated 60% of their adult population against Covid-19 as of yesterday.
The Klang Valley comprising Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya led with 110.9% of adults fully jabbed, taking into account undocumented residents, non-residents and a lack of updates to statistics from the Department of Statistics Malaysia since the last census.
Sabah meanwhile was the latest state to cross the 60% line with 60.3%.
A total of 20,202,624 people nationwide or 86.3% of adults have been fully vaccinated while 22,042,703 or 94.2% have received at least one jab, including of the single-dose CanSino vaccine.
In terms of total population, 62% are fully jabbed while 72.1% have received at least one dose.
A total of 329,163 doses of vaccine were administered yesterday, taking the cumulative number of vaccine shots given under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme to 43,696,743.
