56.5% of people, 78.8% of adults fully vaccinated

Some 56.5% of the population or 18,453,322 people had been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 as of yesterday, with 67.4% or 22,001,266 having received at least one dose including of the single-dose CanSino vaccine.

In terms of adult population, 78.8% are fully vaccinated while 93.3% have received at least one dose.

A total of 219,081 doses of vaccine were administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme yesterday, including 158,308 to second-dose recipients.

A total of 40,375,056 doses of vaccine had been administered throughout the country as of yesterday.
