53.5% of people fully jabbed

A total of 17,480,766 individuals or 53.5% of the country’s population had been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 as of yesterday.

Meanwhile 21,573,348 people or 66% of the population had received at least one dose of vaccine.

In terms of daily vaccination, 227,147 doses were administered yesterday, bringing the total number of doses administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation programme to 38,990,335.

As of 11.59pm yesterday, 413 Covid-19 deaths were reported including backlogged cases.

This takes the country’s Covid-19 death toll to 21,124.
