Malaysia hits halfway point with 50.5% of population fully jabbed

In terms of adult population, 70.5% are fully vaccinated while 89.5% have received at least a first dose.

A total of 50.5% of Malaysia’s total population or 16,492,295 individuals had completed their Covid-19 vaccination as of yesterday, according to the Special Committee for Ensuring Access to Covid-19 Vaccine Supply.

A total of 20,943,582 individuals, or 64.1% of the total population, have received at least one dose of vaccine.

In terms of adult population, 70.5% are fully vaccinated while 89.5% have received at least a first dose.

A total of 320,452 doses were administered yesterday, 128,038 as first doses and the remaining 192,414 as second doses, bringing the cumulative number of vaccine shots administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme to 37,392,241 so far.
