Nearly 69% of adults, half of population fully jabbed

About 36.7 million jabs have been administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme.

A total of 68.8% of the adult population, or 16,107,712 individuals, had completed their Covid-19 vaccination as of yesterday, according to the Covid-19 Vaccine Supply Access Guarantee Special Committee.

A total of 313,751 vaccine doses were dispensed under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme yesterday, with 132,640 doses to first-dose recipients and 181,111 as second doses.

This means 20,677,827 individuals, or 88.3% of the country’s adult population, had received at least one dose of vaccine as of yesterday.

In terms of total population, 49.3% are fully vaccinated while 63.3% have received at least one dose.
