Nearly 66% of adults, over 47% of population fully jabbed

Over 61% of the population have received a first dose of Covid-19 vaccine.

Just under 66% of the adult population had been fully vaccinated as of yesterday, according to the Covid-19 Vaccine Supply Access Guarantee Special Committee.

A total of 15,429,300 people or 65.9% of adults in the country have received both doses of vaccine while 20,115,233 or 85.9% have received a first dose.

In terms of population, 47.2% are now fully vaccinated while 61.6% have received a first dose.

Yesterday, 369,280 doses were administered, of which 181,635 were the first of a two-dose regimen.

A total of 35,519,754 doses of Covid-19 vaccine have been administered throughout the country so far.
