330 deaths as daily cases drop below 20,000

Another 19,378 Covid-19 cases were recorded today, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 1,805,382.

Selangor recorded 3,613 cases, Sarawak 2,464, Sabah 2,404, Johor 2,331, Penang 1,726, Kedah 1,470, Perak 1,389 and Kelantan 1,356.

Kuala Lumpur recorded 740 cases, Pahang 559, Terengganu 532, Melaka 399 and Negeri Sembilan 270.

Perlis recorded 80 cases, Putrajaya 41 and Labuan four.

Active cases stand at 259,189 with 975 in the ICU and 463 in need of respiratory assistance.

Another 22,399 patients recovered, bringing total recoveries to 1,528,672.

However, 330 more deaths were reported, pushing the virus toll to 17,521.
