Nearly 63% of adults, 45% of population double-jabbed

More than 34 million doses have been administered across the country.

A total of 14,648,590 individuals or 62.6% of the adult population in the country had completed their Covid-19 vaccination as of yesterday, according to the Covid-19 Vaccine Supply Access Guarantee Special Committee (JKJAV).

A total of 19,389,392 individuals, or 82.8%, have received a first dose, bringing the total number of doses administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme to 34,027,548 as of yesterday.

According to JKJAV, 59.4% of the country’s population have received at least a first dose of vaccine while 44.9% have completed both doses.

In terms of daily vaccination rate, 302,804 doses were administered yesterday, 142,186 as first doses and 160,618 as second shots.
