37% of population double-jabbed against Covid-19

This amounts to just over 12 million people.

Some 37% of the country’s population, or 12,079,978 people, had completed both doses of Covid-19 vaccine as of yesterday, according to the Covid-19 Vaccine Supply Access Guarantee Special Committee.

A total of 17,806,570 individuals had received a first dose, taking the cumulative number of vaccine doses administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme to 29,886,548.

In terms of daily vaccination, 517,692 doses were dispensed yesterday, with 180,810 as first doses and 336,882 to second-dose recipients.
