Over 28.3 million vaccine jabs given, nearly 34% of population fully vaccinated

52.8% of the population have received a first dose of vaccine.

A total of 28,312,631 doses of Covid-19 vaccine had been administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme as of yesterday, according to the Special Committee for Ensuring Access to Covid-19 Vaccine Supply.

A total of 17,252,314 individuals have received a first dose of vaccine while 11,060,317 people have been given a second dose.

In terms of percentage, 52.8% of the population have received a first dose while 33.9% have completed both doses.

In terms of the daily vaccination rate, a total of 501,776 doses were administered yesterday with 175,874 as first doses and 325,902 as second.
