New cases dip but still over 17,000

Selangor records 6,326 cases, Kuala Lumpur 2,086.

Another 17,150 Covid-19 cases were recorded today, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 1,130,422.

Selangor recorded 6,326 cases, Kuala Lumpur 2,086, Kedah 1,511, Johor 1,045 and Sabah 1,002.

Negeri Sembilan recorded 809 cases, Perak 693, Melaka 686, Penang 752, Pahang 676, Sarawak 578, Kelantan 459 and Terengganu 429.

Putrajaya recorded 72 cases, Perlis 21 and Labuan five.

Active cases stand at 195,273 with 1,059 in the ICU and 531 in need of respiratory assistance.

Another 11,326 patients were discharged, bringing total recoveries to 925,965.

However, 160 more deaths were reported, pushing the virus toll to 9,184.
