Daily jabs pass half a million in new record for vaccine push

More than half a million Covid-19 jabs were administered yesterday, the highest number of daily vaccine doses given since the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) began in late February.

A total of 507,050 doses of vaccine were given nationwide, of which 335,977 were first doses and 171,073 were second shots.

This takes the cumulative number of vaccine shots given since the start of PICK to 16,024,916.

Labuan continues as the state with the highest number of adults who have been fully vaccinated (70.7%) followed by Sarawak (51.5%), Perlis (36.9%), the Klang Valley (23.8%) and Negeri Sembilan (22.9%).
