12.3% fully vaccinated as daily jabs hit new high

A total of 434,828 doses of Covid-19 vaccine were administered yesterday, the highest daily number registered so far, says Health Minister Dr Adham Baba.

He said 279,938 individuals had received a first dose and 154,890 received the second dose.

This brings the total number of vaccine shots dispensed nationwide since the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme was implemented on Feb 24 to 12,647,558 doses.

“With this development, the total number of individuals who have completed both doses of vaccine stands at 4,003,266 or 12.3% of the Malaysian population,” Adham said.
