Daily vaccine jabs hit new high

Daily vaccine shots administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) hit a new record of 340,043 yesterday compared to 313,761 the day before.

Of these, 206,757 were first doses while 133,286 were second doses.

Sarawak recorded the most second doses given at 31,289, followed by Selangor (22,525), Kuala Lumpur (14,124), Johor (10,167) and Sabah (10,056).

A total of 9,660,519 vaccine doses have been administered so far under PICK.
