Over 7 million jabs given, 1.9 million fully vaccinated

Just over five million have received a first dose of vaccine so far.

A total of 5,072,714 individuals had received a first dose of Covid-19 vaccine as of yesterday, says Health Minister Dr Adham Baba.

He said 1,966,358 had also received a second dose.

“A total of 215,968 Covid-19 vaccine injections were given yesterday, taking the cumulative total of Covid-19 vaccine doses administered so far to 7,039,072,” he said in a Twitter post today.

Of the total vaccine injections given yesterday, 148,380 were first doses while 67,588 were second doses.

Adham said the five states with the most fully vaccinated people are Selangor with 262,635 followed by Sarawak (202,741), Johor (201,340), Perak (181,545) and Kuala Lumpur (170,594).
