Selangor logs 1,548 new cases as 3,744 recorded nationwide

Another 3,744 Covid-19 cases were recorded today, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 424,376.

Selangor recorded 1,548 cases, Kelantan 480, Sarawak 419, Kuala Lumpur 313, Johor 292, Penang 195 and Kedah 124.

Negeri Sembilan recorded 76 cases, Terengganu 73, Perak 65, Sabah 50, Pahang 49, Melaka 43, Putrajaya 11, Labuan five and Perlis one.

Active cases stand at 32,939 with 328 in the ICU and 185 in need of respiratory assistance.

Another 2,304 patients were discharged, bringing total recoveries to 389,846.

However, 17 more deaths were reported, pushing the virus toll to 1,591.
