Six out of nine districts in Selangor will come under movement control order (MCO) from May 6 to 17, Senior Minister for Security Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced today.

Hulu Langat, Petaling, Gombak, Klang, Kuala Langat and Sepang will be put under MCO, with no inter-district travel allowed.

Kuala Selangor, Sabak Bernam and Hulu Selangor meanwhile will remain under CMCO.

Social activities will be prohibited in the areas under MCO while bazaar operations will depend on state governments.

In a live address, Ismail said SOPs would follow those set under the previous MCO as well as those in place in Kelantan, which is currently under MCO.

In Kelantan, restaurants and eateries must close at 10pm while dine-in activities are not allowed.

Ismail said SOPs for Hari Raya prayers at mosques across the country would be decided by state religious authorities.

For areas under MCO, visits on the first day of Hari Raya will be limited to not more than 15 people depending on the size of the house.

Feasts after Aidilfitri prayers in mosques and suraus are banned in all areas under MCO and enhanced MCO.

Ismail said those hosting Hari Raya gatherings are encouraged to provide QR codes and to scan body temperatures in order to facilitate contact tracing.

Open houses are prohibited altogether.

MySejahtera registration will be compulsory at all premises except for those in areas with low internet connection.
