CMCO to end in Johor, Terengganu, Melaka and Kedah

However, Kelantan will come under CMCO given the recent spike in Covid-19 cases in the state.

The government has decided to lift the conditional movement control order (CMCO) in Johor today while the CMCO in Terengganu, Melaka and Kedah will be lifted tomorrow.

Senior Minister for Security Ismail Sabri Yaakob said in Johor, only the districts of Kota Tinggi and Mersing will remain under CMCO.

In Kedah, meanwhile, the Kulim district will remain under CMCO.

He also said that Kelantan would be put under CMCO for two weeks from tomorrow until Dec 6, in light of the spike in number of Covid-19 cases in the state.

The CMCO, enforced across most of the country on Nov 9, is supposed to continue until Dec 6.
