New cases dip to 660, four more deaths

Another 660 Covid-19 cases were recorded today, taking total confirmed infections in the country past the 50,000 mark to 50,390.

Of these, 387 were recorded in Sabah, 141 in Selangor and 31 in Kuala Lumpur.

Negeri Sembilan recorded 31 new cases, Perak and Penang 16 each, Labuan 13, Kedah 11, and Melaka four.

Johor, Kelantan and Sarawak recorded three new cases each while Putrajaya recorded one.

Active cases stand at 12,814 with 103 in the ICU and 41 in need of respiratory assistance.

Another 630 patients were discharged, pushing total recoveries to 37,254 or 73.9%.

However, four more deaths were reported, bringing the virus toll to 322.
