Another 649 cases were recorded today, pushing total confirmed infections to 30,090.

Of these, 352 or 54.2% were reported in Sabah, followed by Selangor (135), Negeri Sembilan (43), Kedah (37) and Kuala Lumpur (23).

Labuan recorded 17 new cases, Penang 13, Sarawak 10, Johor 10, Perak five, Terengganu one, Melaka one, Pahang one and Putrajaya one.

Active cases now stand at 10,087 with 106 in the ICU and 23 in need of respiratory assistance.

A total of 685 patients were also discharged, taking recoveries to 19,757.

No new deaths were recorded, leaving the virus toll unchanged at 246.
