Police have detained Sungai Pelek assemblyman Ronnie Liu Tian Khiew as part of an investigation into a social media post allegedly containing seditious elements against Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah.

Yesterday, Bernama reported Bukit Aman CID director Huzir Mohamed as saying that Liu was among four individuals under probed for allegedly insulting the king on social media.
