New cases dip to 732, death toll up by 6

580 recoveries take total to 14,931.

A total of 732 new infections were reported today, taking total confirmed Covid-19 cases to 22,957.

Of these, 535 were recorded in Sabah. Selangor followed with 116 new cases and Kuala Lumpur with 26.

Penang had 12 cases, followed by Negeri Sembilan and Labuan (nine), Kedah and Perak (seven), Putrajaya (six), Melaka (three), and Kelantan and Pahang (one).

No new cases were reported in Johor and Sarawak.

Active cases stand at 7,827 or 34.09% with 102 in the ICU and 31 in need of respiratory assistance.

Meanwhile, 580 patients were discharged from hospital, taking total recoveries to 14,931 or 65.04%.

However, six more deaths were also reported, pushing the virus toll to 199 or 0.87%.
