Padini Holdings today confirmed a case of Covid-19 among its staff at Brands Outlet in Paradigm Mall, making the shopping centre the latest in a string of malls which have reported positive cases.

In a statement on Facebook, Padini said the individual is currently receiving medical attention while other staff members at the outlet will be screened and quarantined for 14 days.

The outlet itself has been temporarily closed for sanitisation and deep cleaning, with contact tracing underway.

“The safety and health of the team members and shoppers remains our priority. As such, all the information regarding Covid-19 shall be shared quickly and accurately. We apologise for the inconveniences caused,” Padini said.

Earlier today, 1 Utama Shopping Centre confirmed a case of Covid-19 among the staff members of its Mac City Service Centre.

Nu Sentral, Sunway Pyramid, and KL Gateway Mall have also reported cases of Covid-19 among its personnel.
