Perdana Menteri Israel Benjamin Netanyahu pada Selasa mengumumkan rancangan untuk mengadakan lawatan ke Bahrain sebagai memenuhi jemputan Putera Mahkota Salman Hamad Al Khalifa, lapor agensi berita Sputnik.

Pada September, Bahrain memulihkan hubungan diplomatik dengan Israel selepas beberapa dekad meminggirkan rejim itu berikutan krisis Palestin.

“Saya sudah bercakap dengan Putera Mahkota Salman Hamad Al Khalifa. Kami berdua sangat gembira kerana dapat membawa kedamaian kepada rakyat kami dan kedua-dua negara dalam waktu yang singkat.

“Itulah sebabnya beliau mengundang saya ke Bahrain untuk lawatan rasmi dan saya berbesar hati untuk memenuhi pelawaan itu,” kata Netanyahu dalam rakaman video yang disiarkan di Twitternya.
