Pejabat Menteri Besar Perak di Ipoh diarahkan tutup selama 14 hari bermula hari ini selepas seorang kakitangannya disahkan positif Covid-19.

Menurut kenyataan Pejabat Menteri Besar Perak hari ini, proses sanitasi dijalankan di pejabat yang terletak di Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan itu sebagai langkah keselamatan sementara pegawai dan kakitangan pula diarahkan menjalani kuarantin kendiri.

“Bahagian lain di bangunan terbabit pula beroperasi selepas kerja-kerja sanitasi selesai dijalankan pada 2 petang tadi,” demikian menurut kenyataan itu.

Menurut kenyataan itu, Menteri Besar Perak Ahmad Faizal Azumu tidak berada di pejabat dalam tempoh berkenaan kerana sedang menghadiri sidang Dewan Rakyat di ibu negara.

Bagaimanapun atas faktor keselamatan, Faizal menjalani ujian saringan kesihatan semalam dan beliau disahkan negatif Covid-19.
