Ibu pejabat Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia (Jakim) di Kompleks Islam Putrajaya akan ditutup mulai esok sehingga 20 Oktober bagi melaksanakan kerja-kerja sanitasi di ruang pejabat dan mengekang penularan Covid-19.

Jakim dalam kenyataannya hari ini menyebut penutupan itu turut melibatkan pejabat Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri (Hal Ehwal Agama) Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri dan timbalannya, Ahmad Marzuk Shaary.

“Lanjutan itu, semua operasi harian Jakim hanya dihadkan melalui perkhidmatan dalam talian sahaja. Jakim akan beroperasi semula pada 21 Oktober,” menurut kenyataan itu.

Zulkifli semalam mengesahkan beliau positif Covid-19 dan kini menjalani rawatan di hospital.
