Enam kes baharu COVID-19 dilaporkan hari ini, termasuk satu kes melibatkan Kluster MV Glen di Selangor, kata Ketua Pengarah Kesihatan Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

Beliau berkata dengan perkembangan itu, jumlah keseluruhan kes Covid-19 di Malaysia kini sebanyak 9,360 kes manakala kes aktif dengan kebolehjangkitan adalah 153.

Dr Noor Hisham berkata, daripada jumlah kes baharu, empat daripadanya kes import yang kesemuanya melibatkan bukan warganegara, manakala dua lagi kes adalah penularan tempatan membabitkan warga Malaysia.

“Empat kes import tersebut adalah dari Indonesia (tiga kes) dan Syria (satu kes).

“Bagi kes penularan tempatan, satu kes daripada Kluster MV Glen dan satu lagi kes saringan di tempat kerja di Pahang. Beliau tidak bergejala dan telah dimasukkan ke Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan,” katanya dalam satu kenyataan, hari ini.

Dr Noor Hisham berkata tiada kematian direkodkan hari ini dan jumlah maut akibat wabak itu kekal 128.

Beliau berkata terdapat empat kes COVID-19 pulih hari ini, menjadikan jumlah kumulatif kes pulih sepenuhnya adalah 9,079 kes atau 97 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes.

Sehingga hari ini, sebanyak empat kes sedang dirawat di Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU) dengan tiga daripadanya memerlukan alat bantuan pernafasan, katanya.
